How to Enable or Disable Same-Day Check-In and Check-Out


Maximize your revenue by allowing guests to check out in the morning and have new guests check in the same day. Follow these steps to adjust your settings in the Lodge Lovers platform.


1. Log into your Lodge Lovers profile and navigate to your Dashboard.

2. Go to the "Your Listings" tab.

3. Select the property you wish to modify by clicking "Edit Listing."

4. Navigate to Step 3 and select the "Advanced Notice" tab.


Adjusting Your Settings


How much notice do you need before a guest arrives?

  1. 0 Days: Allows a guest to book and arrive the same day.
  2. If you prefer more notice, adjust this setting accordingly.


Preparation Time

  1. None**: Allows a guest to check out in the morning and a new guest to check in the same day.
  2. 1 Night**: Only allows a new guest to book the following day after a previous guest checks out.
  3. 2 Nights**: Only allows a new guest to book two days after a previous guest checks out.


When can a guest check in? / When can a guest check out?

  1. If you allow for same day check-in and check-out, it is important to consider the time needed to clean and prepare the space.
  2. For example, if you need 6 hours to prepare, you might set the check-out time to "10 AM" and the check-in time to "4 PM."


By properly adjusting these settings, you ensure that your property is ready for each guest, providing a smooth transition and maximizing your booking potential.
