How to Enable Same Day Check-Out and Check-In on Lodge Lovers

Lodge Lovers is pleased to announce a feature requested by many of our hosts: the ability to schedule a new booking check-in on the same day a previous guest checks out. This allows you to keep a full calendar with no nights skipped between bookings.


To enable this feature, you will need to turn it on in your profile. Follow these steps to set up same day check-out and check-in:


1. Log into your profile: Access your Lodge Lovers account.


2. Go to your dashboard: Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard.


3. Edit your listing:

   - Click on "My Listings."

   - Select "Edit Listing" for the property or properties where you want to enable same day check-out and check-in.


4. Navigate to "Get Ready for Guests":

   - On the edit page, go to step three, “Get ready for guests.”

   - Click the “Change” option.

   - In step three, find the fourth header menu option, “Advance Notice.”


5. Adjust the following four settings under "Advance Notice":


   - **Notice before arrival**: Select “0 day” to indicate how much notice you need before a guest arrives.


   - **Preparation time**: In the preparation time box, select “None” to indicate no extra preparation time is needed.


   - **Check-in time**: Ensure the “From:” time allows enough time to prepare the property after the previous guest’s check-out. For example, if guests check out by 10 AM and you need four hours to prepare, set the “From:” check-in time to after 2 PM.


   - **Check-out time**: Ensure the “To:” time allows adequate preparation for the next guest. For example, if your next guest’s check-in time is 4 PM and it takes four hours to prepare, set the “To:” check-out time to before 12 PM.


6. Select "Save and Exit":  Be sure to save your new settings by selecting "Save and Exit" in the top of the header menu before navigating away.
